What your team sees in the orders list

Place an order on the phone. This panel then shows it as your team sees it in the orders list.

This demo updates both sides at once. In QckOrder your team sees new orders when they open or refresh the orders list, and guests see the status when they open or refresh their order page.

Where a pizzeria slows down

  • The Friday-evening queue at the counter

Guests scan the code while they wait, read the menu and send their order from their phone. The person at the counter stops reading out the menu and writing down orders.

  • The phone rings with questions the menu can answer

What is on the pizza, what does it cost, is there a bigger one? Put names, descriptions, photos and prices in the menu, and guests find the answer before they call.

  • An ingredient runs out in the middle of service

Change the description or take the pizza off the menu in the dashboard. The next guest who scans sees the change, and nobody crosses out a printed menu.

  • Guests from abroad cannot read the menu

Enter each pizza in the languages you turn on, and guests switch language from the menu header. They read the menu in their own language and order for themselves.

How QR ordering works in a pizzeria

  1. Guests scan the code

A code at the counter, on the table or in the window opens your menu in the phone browser. Guests install nothing and create no account.

  2. They pick from the full menu

Group the pizzas by type and add each size or variant as its own item, such as Margherita 32 cm. Guests add items to the cart and write a note.

  3. Your team works each order

Staff open the orders list and move each order from pending to accepted, preparing, ready and completed. Guests can check the status of their order.

Where the code goes in a pizzeria

Put a printed code wherever guests wait or decide what to eat.

  • The queue by the counter

A sign at the counter lets people read the menu and order while they stand in line.

  • Tables

A card or sticker on the table lets guests order when they are ready. They add where they sit in the order note.

  • Door and window

Passers-by can scan the code and read the menu and prices before they walk in.

Would it cover its cost at your venue?

Enter your own numbers to see how many QR orders it takes to cover a plan, based on the staff time you spend taking orders.

The starting values are examples, not statistics, and they change with the venue type picked above. Replace them with yours.

Your estimate

If guests placed those orders by QR instead of staff taking them, that is about 41.6 hours a month, worth $748.80 at your rate, against $49 for Growth.

Staff hours
41.6
Value of that time
$748.80
Plan cost per month

On these numbers the time is worth $699.80 more than the plan.

The plan is covered at about 82 QR orders a month.

How this is calculated
  • QR orders per month = orders per day × days open × QR share
  • Staff hours = QR orders per month × minutes per order ÷ 60
  • Value of time = staff hours × staff cost per hour
  • Break-even orders = plan cost ÷ (minutes per order ÷ 60 × staff cost)

QR ordering for pizzerias: questions

What is QR ordering for a pizzeria?

QR ordering lets pizzeria guests scan a code, read the menu on their phone and send their order without installing an app. Your team sees the order in the dashboard and works it through pending, preparing, ready and completed. It replaces dictating orders at the counter, not your oven.

Can guests change what goes on a pizza?

Not as built-in options. Items have no extras or choices, so each version of a pizza is its own menu item, such as Margherita and Margherita with extra mozzarella. Guests can add a note to the order, but your team reads it and decides, because nothing is applied automatically.

How does my team find out about a new order?

Staff see an order when they open or refresh the orders list in the dashboard. Keep the list open while you serve, and refresh it when you expect orders.

Which languages can guests read the menu in?

Polish, English, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. You enter each item, category and menu in the languages you turn on, and guests switch language from the menu header. Starter includes two menu languages.

How do guests pay?

They pay the venue as they do today, by cash or card. QckOrder does not process payments. Your team marks each order as paid, by cash or card, in the dashboard.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial lasts 14 days and needs no credit card. Send the short form with your venue details and the team sets up your menu with you.
