QckOrder

Pricing explained

How QckOrder pricing works, in plain words

You pay the monthly price of your plan plus 1% of the value of completed orders placed through QckOrder. This page explains what each part covers and works through three example months.

What the plan price covers

QckOrder pricing has two parts: the monthly price of your plan, and 1% of the value of completed orders placed through QckOrder. The plan price is the same every month. The 1% follows what you actually sell through the menu.

Each plan sets three limits: locations, user accounts and menu languages. Everything else works the same on every plan, so pick the smallest plan that fits and move up when you grow.

How the fee on orders works

On top of the plan price, QckOrder charges 1% of the value of completed orders placed through QckOrder. It is not taken from a payment, because QckOrder does not collect payments from guests. Guests pay your venue by cash or card, and the fee goes on your monthly invoice.

  • Only completed orders count. Cancelled orders, and orders that never finish, are left out.
  • Only orders placed through QckOrder count. Orders taken another way are not included.
  • The value is the order total, whether the guest paid by cash or card or has not paid yet.
  • Orders are counted per calendar month, in your venue's time zone.
  • You see the month in the panel under Plan & usage, and it is invoiced monthly.

Example: a small cafe on Starter

A cafe with one counter and a small team fits Starter: one location, two user accounts and a menu in two languages. The table shows a month at three levels of completed orders, from a quiet month to a busy one.

The total is the Starter plan price plus 1% of the completed orders. In the first row the fee is a small addition to the plan price, and it grows only when more orders go through QckOrder.

$2,000$39$20$59
$5,000$39$50$89
$10,000$39$100$139

Example: a busy restaurant on Growth

A restaurant with a bigger team and guests from abroad needs Growth: ten user accounts and the menu in all five languages. The same three levels of completed orders show how the fee scales while the plan price stays fixed.

In the last row the fee is larger than the plan price. That is how the percentage works: you pay more only in months when more orders go through QckOrder.

$2,000$59$20$79
$5,000$59$50$109
$10,000$59$100$159

Example: a three-location group on Pro

A group with up to three venues uses Pro: three locations, 25 user accounts and five menu languages on one account. The fee counts the completed orders of all three locations added together, so read the first column as the group's combined orders.

Each location prints its own QR codes and keeps its own menu, but there is one plan price and one monthly total for the group.

How to estimate your own cost

Take the value of the orders you expect to complete through QckOrder in a month. Multiply it by 1%, which is the same as dividing it by 100, and add the monthly price of your plan. Last month's sales are a good start, counting only the share you expect guests to order from their phones.

To see whether a plan pays for itself, enter your own numbers in the cost estimator. It adds the 1% to the plan price and compares the total with the staff time you save. The starting values are examples, so replace them with yours.

Annual billing, extra locations and the trial

Annual billing costs ten months for twelve. For Growth the annual price works out to $49 a month, and the 1% on completed orders stays the same.

Pro includes three locations. From the fourth, each extra location is $49 a month, plus the same 1% on its completed orders.

Pricing questions

Is the fee taken from each payment?

No. QckOrder does not collect payments from guests, so nothing is taken from a payment. Guests pay your venue by cash or card, and the 1% goes on your monthly invoice.

Do cash orders count towards the fee?

Yes, if the order was placed through QckOrder and completed. The fee depends on the order total, not on how the guest paid, so cash and card orders count the same.

What about orders my staff take outside QckOrder?

They do not count. The fee covers only orders placed through QckOrder. An order taken on paper or another way is not part of the monthly total.

Are cancelled orders charged?

No. Only completed orders count. A cancelled order, or an order that never reaches completed, adds nothing to the monthly total.

Where can I see what I owe this month?

In the panel under Plan & usage. The fee is calculated per calendar month and invoiced monthly.

Which month does an order belong to?

Orders are counted per calendar month in your venue's time zone, by the date the order was placed. An order placed late on the last evening of a month belongs to that month.

Does annual billing change the fee?

No. Annual billing lowers the monthly price of the plan, because you pay for ten months and get twelve. The 1% on completed orders stays the same.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial lasts 14 days and needs no credit card. Send the short form with your venue details and the team sets up your menu with you.
