This demo shows both sides at once. In QckOrder, new orders appear on your team's list by themselves within about 15 seconds, and guests see status changes on their order page without doing anything.

How QR ordering works in a restaurant

  1. Guests scan the code

    The code on the table opens your menu in the phone browser. No app to download, no account to make.

  2. They order from the menu

    Guests add dishes, write a note for the kitchen and place the order themselves. Your team sees the table number on the order.

  3. Your team works each order

    New orders appear in the orders list on their own, with a sound. Staff accept the order and move it on to preparing, ready and completed, and guests see each change on their order page.

Where the code goes

Each table gets its own code, and the whole restaurant has one more. Print as many copies as you need.

  • Tables

    Print each table's code on a card or sticker. The table number shows on every order, so nobody has to ask where to bring it.

  • Host stand

    Guests waiting for a table can read the menu and decide before they sit down.

  • Door or window

    Passers-by can scan and read your menu before they come in.

Only completed orders count; cancelled orders do not. The 1% is calculated per calendar month and invoiced monthly. QckOrder does not collect guest payments: guests pay your venue.

How do QR code menus work in a restaurant?

A guest scans the code, the menu opens in the phone browser, and they add dishes and place the order. Your team opens the orders list and moves each order through its statuses.

Can guests order without downloading an app?

Yes. The menu runs in the browser. Guests do not install anything or create an account, and they do not need to give a name, email or phone number to order.

Do I need a different QR code for every table?

It helps. QckOrder makes a code for each table plus one for the whole restaurant. With a table code, the table number shows on every order. The restaurant code still works for orders with no table.

How do guests pay in a restaurant?

They pay the venue as usual, by cash or card. Your team marks the order as paid in the dashboard. QckOrder does not process the payment.

Can I show my menu in more than one language?

Yes. Each dish, category and menu can carry its own translation in Polish, English, Italian, Spanish or Japanese. Guests pick a language from the menu.

Can I show allergens and dietary tags on the menu?

Yes. Tag each dish with allergens and with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or spicy. Guests see the tags before they add a dish and can filter out the allergens they avoid. The tags show what you enter, so keep them up to date. A dish with no allergen information entered is not treated as free of allergens.
